What's the issue with "view all?" I use it whenever there are multiple new/unmarked posts in a thread, to save all the clicking and backspacing and clicking. I would like it if the little yellow "unmarked" squares also showed up in view all, but that's getting picky.

I have never used "read new." It seems reading some random post, without the context of the post it's responding to, would be confusing.

If you first click on the thread title link then click on the View All that is under the OP box, you'll have the little yellow squares in the View All.

I have never used "read new." It seems reading some random post, without the context of the post it's responding to, would be confusing.

Read New doesn't serve up the new post, it serves up all threads with new posts in them, context at the ready. What are you, some kind of 'net n00b?
