"I got fucked up the ass"
 
I need to vent, and have no other safe place to do so, therefore ya'll are stuck reading this.

So 1 1/2 year ago I got laid off. At that time, my boss put on a good performance about how sad he was and how he would do what he could to get me back. Even though I knew he was a lying sack of shit, I fell for it hook, line and sinker.

Some background info: I was originally hired to be a legal assistant, which meant I was going to be half executive admin to him, half paralegal. After a year he was going to hire a new executive admin and I would be a full paralegal. That all happened. He ended up hiring a girl from accounting who he thought was hot over the 3 qualified candidates he interviewed. Naturally, she had no clue how to be an admin and all he did was complain about her (meanwhile, she's pretty rich, her parents own her house, bought her car and her college education and she constantly complained about the job being beneath her). I was stuck training her for a long time. Fast forward almost 2 years, and I'm the monkey in the middle who gets laid off. Executive admin keeps her job as does the senior paralegal. Fast forward again to present day and the head of HR retires, they put my old boss in charge and he inherits a new admin (one of the 3 qualified candidates he didn't want 3 years before and dumped off on HR and that he always complained was a nutjob), and I just found out he moved the executive admin into MY old position. FUCKER!!!!

I'm ready to go Milton on all these bastards.

That sucks. Thank God you're outta there.

Aren't good paralegals always in demand? Fuck them - you can work anywhere.

I'd like to just see how miss I-can't-handle-being-an-assistant fucks up their cases. Haha on them!

He used to tell me all the time how he didn't find the exec hot, and that he thought I was way hotter. Hey, I knew he was lying, but didn't get it confirmed until he actually cornered her and flat out asked her to fuck his fat 400lb ass a week before my lay off. And, no, she didn't. Ew.

(yes, he's a total sleaze, but better the devil you know)

To respond for the 100th time in my own thread....I actually watch The Deep End. It's the worst show ever, but I watch it because a friend of my SIL is on it. I won't say who, but he thinks it sucks too.

Edited to fix typo.

ETA again to consolidate: Come on now, I was laid off, not fired, and the only reason I'm freshly pissed again is because I just found out about Rich Girl getting my old job, and that the two women he used to complain about are still there and 'I' got the shaft. Hey, it's the principle. Like Iddbrown said, it's like getting dumped by a really shitty boyfriend and finding out that he was cheating on you the whole time with some really fat ugly chick. I am, however, working towards being glad to be rid of them all. I just hate the idea of having to start fresh somewhere new.

Your boss lied to you, misled you, then fired you instead of someone who was far less qualified.

Your boss weighs 400 pounds.

Your boss is a sexually harrassing pig who told you you were hot and tried to get the less qualified person to have sex with him.

You're still upset 1-1/2 years later that you haven't been rehired by the "lying sack of shit."

Now, I can hold a grudge with the best of them, but you need to get some perspective. Get down on your knees every day and thank God you're not still stuck there.

Now man up, forget this turd, and go find another job!
